About browser storage

A browser storage is a file created by a website in your device. Cookies are just one type of browser storage, but there are others. It is important that you know them so you can block them or delete the data stored by them.

• Browser local storage – Some websites use the browser's localStorage to store persistent data; data in localStorage doesn't expire. You may erase them by deleting your browser's history.
• Browser session storage – Some websites use the browser's sessionStorage to temporarily store data; data in sessionStorage is cleared when the page session ends. You may erase them by deleting your browser's history.
• Browser cache storage – Some websites use the browser's CacheStorage which provides a storage mechanism for Request / Response object pairs that are cached. It is generally used to improve website performance or enable offline support. You may erase them by deleting your browser's history.
• Flash local storage ("Flash Local Shared Objects") – Flash is a browser plug-in used to add Interactive and multimedia content into websites. Flash can store data in your device.
• Silverlight local storage ("Isolated Objects") – Silverlight is a browser plug-in used to add Interactive and multimedia content into websites. Silverlight can store data in your device.
• Web beacon – A web beacon is a tracking method that consists of an image embedded into a website. When your browser connects to the server where the image is located to download it, your access is tracked. Some times web beacons are very small or transparent images so the user is not aware of them.

About cookies

A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

Cookies may be either "persistent" cookies or "session" cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

Cookies may not contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal data that websites store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

What do we use?

Our website do use browser's session storage to manage acceptance of our Privacy policy.

We do not use browser's persistent local storage.

We do not use browser's cache storage.

We do not use cookies.

We do not use service providers which means no third-parties cookies can be stored on your computer when you visit our website.

Blocking browser storage won’t have any impact on the use of our website.
